Dr. Joe is the epitome of a professional. He is remarkable at his craft and full of practical, useful knowledge. I was a patient of his for an injury that was years in the making, from a variety of factors… poor posture, less than ideal body mechanics, and the daily abuse I’ve dished out unknowingly over years of practicing in professions that keep me on my feet all day. He helped me realize how important every movement truly is to my overall well-being. He decreased my daily pain exponentially. He explained the rationale for each and every exercise he prescribed, which made me all that much more compliant on my “homework,” To this day, I incorporate my “Dr. Joe Exercises” into my daily movement routine, to preserve my back health, and quite frankly, because they make me feel good! I’m a personal trainer, so I’ve beat myself up in the gym and on the sports field for years. Dr. Joe Camisa, over the course of a couple of months, improved my back, knee, and shoulder pain tremendously. I used to wake up in pain every morning, and now I can jump out of bed without fear of pain. Joe and his dry needling techniques seemed like a miracle at first, but Joe does an amazing job of explaining the process and is excellent at following up and making sure I’m doing my rehab exercises at home. Dr. Joe Camisa has been a savior in treating my lower back pain over the last year which has been a limiting factor in enjoying activities and carrying my young children. He diagnosed the specific issue and gave me instruction in correcting and eliminating my high risk movements (like sit-ups!) and practicing better movements and doing exercises to strengthen my back and loosen my hips.
