The Inner Athlete Training Back to Basics System is a program that works on a three-tier level of Nutrition, Movement, and Stress Management. Nutritionist, personal trainer & health coach, James Jankiewicz collaborates with his students to refine and master crucial skills and habits that lead the individual to a place of great health, mental calmness, and a strong body with sound movement patterns. In just a few months, you can move better, have a sound diet that enhances your health, and a calmer mind to assist you in life’s troubled waters.

James Jankiewicz is a nutritionist, a personal trainer, a health coach, an athlete and a filmmaker. James has been in the health and wellness industry for over 25 years assisting people with their health, nutrition, fitness and stress management goals. As an athlete, James has competed in a wide variety of sports ranging from pole-vaulting to high jump to marathons, rock climbing and weight training. He has studied a wide variety of martial arts, culminating in teaching an effective and easy-to-learn self-defense program. James has been a practitioner of mediation and stress management strategies for over 30 years. He is also the founder of Inner Athlete Training, a website and podcast series that covers current trends in the health and wellness space as well as the history of physical culture and medicine.

After acquiring an undergraduate degree in Nutrition with a minor in Philosophy, James then went on to a graduate degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. He has spent over 20 years in corporate wellness in NYC offering a wide variety of training, nutrition and stress management strategies for fortune 100 companies and currently teaches healthy living science courses part time for a private Prep Academy in Bergen County.

Feel free to reach out for a free phone consultation with James to assess your nutrition needs. If you require more in-depth services, we could then arrange an evaluation which would consist of:

  • 60 – 90 minute consultation where we would record your height, weight, and body fat.
  • In-depth survey to fill out and review, concerning your eating exercise, stress, and sleeping patterns.
  • In-depth discussion as to how to course correct any of these elements.
  • Sample diet plan to follow.

Both sleep and stress have been shown to be a large contributing factor to some people in terms of not being able to shed unwanted pounds so it is just as important to assess and evaluate these as all the other components. Afterwards, if you need additional follow-up or consultation we can set that up for you as well.
