Dr. Rob Ramsthaler, Physical Therapist

Background & Experience

Dr. Rob Ramsthaler received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Physiology from Rutgers University. He continued his education at the University of Delaware, where he received his Master of Science in Clinical Health and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). Dr. Ramsthaler has experience working with a variety of patient populations. He completed an externship at the Burn Center at Cooperman St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ where he worked with severely burned individuals. He also completed an externship at Advanced Rehab in Tampa, FL, where he treated athletes of all abilities, from high school to professional, and post-op patients. Additionally, he trained under a vestibular rehabilitation specialist at the University of Delaware’s Neurologic and Older Adult clinic where he was involved in the treatment of conditions like benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and vestibular hyopfunction.

Dr. Ramsthaler has played sports most of his life, and developed low back pain at the age of 13 years old. He was then diagnosed with spondylolisthesis, and gained his first exposure to the world of physical therapy. This first-hand experience with the rehab process guided him into choosing physical therapy as a career. He is determined to help patients live pain free and to help them return to their daily activities.

Dr. Ramsthaler enjoys playing golf, working out at the gym, running, and participating in flag-football leagues.
